This is Cwmystwyth where I grew up (not on this farm but in this village) I highly reccomend it if you fancy getting away from it all. check out this sweet campsite
forum will be up soon - newsletter will go out as soon as its ready!
I'm saving up my pennies for this...
BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!

so here I am finally reporting back on our radio experiences. It was a little scary at first but the people at were very friendly and made us feel totally relaxed. They didnt even mind the baby being on air! (she who is nameless until Tess gets round to officially telling you all!)
so we'd better get used to it as we went on BBC radio Wales this week - with a vet from Anglesey who'd just castrated five bullocks in a lovely welsh accent - and next week we have to sit for 2 hours switching from region to region telling listeners across the country why they should buy our book. I think I need to smile as I speak as Fred said we did sound a bit serious about our camping and frankly we're anything but!
I just uploaded a new campsite reccomended by Happy Camper member Duncan - LLyn Gwynant in Gwynned Wales. looks great, let us know if you have any suggestions
LOMO LOVE

moondog - ynyslas beach
this picture on flickr is lovely and is very convincingly faux vintage having been taken with a digi. i just sent my lomos to the hospital. pictures just seem too dark and all the colours gone out of them. i'm saving up for my first digital but i'll never forget my first lomo...
we're off to london today to prerecord an interview for channel four radio, i promise to tell you all about it tomorrow - and get Tess on the case to finally announce the baby news!
I'm becoming addicted to our book page on Amazon - our sales ranking had gone from 3000 and summit (just before it came out) to 107 (yesterday - hurrah) - nearly a bestseller in amazon eyes. today we're at 189. its like being in the charts or something!
BUSY BUSY BEE

Well it’s been a very busy couple of weeks. what with the book coming out, illustration work suddenly coming in (its that time of year - freelancer rejoice!) and to top it off becoming an aunty (which is great by the way!) and all this means, I'm pretty busy, Tess is pretty busy, and there’s not a lot of time for our lovely sparkly new website. You see dear readers, there is only two of us. Yup we have no army of helpers running this puppy, its just me and Tess. And unfortunately as our friend Dan put it, the website looks like a huge empty warehouse with the wrapping hanging off!
So I'm asking you a small favour. Please be patient...
to anyone whose joined - your badges will be posted as soon as we have a day to get together and devote to you all! Thanks so much for joining we're very excited to have you all aboard!
To anyone who wants to use the forum - we have our web developer casing the joint as we speak. Hopefully he will be able to iron out the glitches soon.
To anyone whose looking for a campsite - as you may have noticed we haven't got loads of campsites listed yet. this is because Tess and I have to enter each one by hand and that takes time. but slowly the list will grow and with your help it will become a fantastic list of worship to all those campsites that help make our holidays so special.
To anyone who would like to shout out a campsite -
if it’s already listed please click on the link on the campsites page. You will be directed to a page that lets you write your review and upload your photos. (You need to be logged in) this helps us out loads as then we don’t have to do a thing! Thank you!
If its not already listed you can email us with your reviews and one day it will magically appear - though we can't guarantee when!
Remember - this website would be nothing without you guys THANK YOU
AND FINALLY (if you made it this far!) Thanks for all your lovely emails about the book. If you'd like to spread the word/talk loudly about it in public places/review it on Amazon we'd be very grateful...
