Dreaming of camping again on this rain soaked day!

"Possibly the nicest campsites in the world, at least it's right on the edge
of the entire 10,000 miles of the Asiatic landmass, is Troytown Farm on St
Agnes, Isles of Scilly. Luckily you can't get a car there, but it's only 20
minutes walk across, and you'll have to book a year ahead, or maybe seven.
Winter? No, they're probably shut - you are more or less in the middle of -
or some way out in - the Atlantic Ocean. And the sea is cold, so wetsuits
are not just for wimps. You'll get very familiar with the local boats and
boat people and you will encounter the spirits. Or whatever. It's a
strange and wonderful place. No fires. There's hardly any wood, but
sitting there watching the great waves rolling onto Bishop's Rock Lighthouse
across five miles of dark reefs is utterly mesmerising. Bright white
beaches in the brilliant light create a timeless sense of being in some
other world entirely".........
Tony (Blue Moon)

This is one of our happy campers's favorite campsite..........sounds good!
Quick book while you can
there is still a few vacancies for August 2008
