DAY CAMPING

Today we had an interview with the Telegraph. So as Tess is a week over her due date we decided to take him (Sandy from the telegraph) on a day camp and cook him lunch on a campfire and chat outside. And luckily it was a sucess. The weather was fantastic, we took him to a field near Chichester and made a fire. Kat baked a cake (Lizzie and Maddies lemon spice cake) from the book and we baked salmon with pesto and had it in big crusty rolls washed down with lots of tea. Sandy was lovely and very enthusiastic about our book and asked us loads of questions and we had our photos taken by Andrew the photographer and got to talk about camping a lot! Our favourite subject! It was a lovely day and very tempting to camp out for the night, but Tess didnt quite fancy giving birth in the tent!

LEGS CROSSED!

Just heard that instead of going to see my lovely friend who is over from NY and my other lovely friend and her lovely new baby and her lovely little boy I have to do an interview for the Telegraph! eek I don't think I will ever get used to doing interviews. We are going to take the journalist on a day camping trip (It was meant to be a proper campout) - its not really very authentic but it will have to do as Tess is about to pop! we have been impatiently waiting but now we are very patiently waiting - a camping birth would not be a good spin on the story.
