A lovely location, just a few hundred yards from a smashing sandy beach, nice and peaceful (mainly tents, some touring caravans). some pitches have a sea view but they were all taken by the time we'd booked (admittedly only the day before) nice hot showers and clean loos, but only one shower block - they're in the middle of putting another one in though, very nice friendly staff, who went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our pitch (slightly sloping) and would I'm sure have been happy to recommend local attractions/stuff to do had they not been newcomers to the area themselves. little shop down the road in Moelfre (and a pub and cafe) and more facilities in Benllech, 5 minutes drive away. within easy driving distance of two utterly gorgeous National Trust properties - Plas Newydd in Llanfairpwll and Penrhyn Castle, near Bangor - and the castle at Beaumaris (good fish and chips in Beaumaris too, and a man selling ridiculously fresh and very strawberryish just-picked strawberries) thanks to Lauren Turner

Stunning location right on the beach front. Sadly however, the people running the site are a nightmare! Having been forced to re-pitch our tent 4 inches - twice - we sat outside our tents scared at our every move! Avoid
