They do not supply wood at their excellent organic farm shop (that being just about the only thing that they don't supply) , although we have always been able to pick up enough bits windfall wood from their nature trail and they have never said anything when they've seen us carrying it back to the campsite-I don't think its protected land or anything. Lovely site in the orchard for families, but a larger field available for big groups or those who like a late night and don't want to disturb the early to bed crew. No shop now, and no provisions sold at the farm house, but closest town is 25 mins walk or short drive. As is a decent chip shop and a good Thai!. The ability to have camp fires is a big draw, and the farmers son does a good trade in providing a bag of kindling, wood and paper for a fiver. Facilities are fine, a queue if the site is really busy, but not an issue for us on a busy late May bank holiday. No electric hook ups or plugs available, so leave the hairdryer at home and go natural! Owners are helpful but unobtrusive, lots of animals to keep the kids amused and the nature trail was a great way for us to start the day and get the stomach rumbling for breakfast. We had the trail all to ourselves every day, even though the site was busy. Only downside was the farm dog barking at 5am for what seemed like 30 mins but was probably less...that led to a few grumbly people the next day. Overall, good site, relaxed, lovely location and campfires :-)

This was a very lovely campsite. It is very well situated near to Brecon. The farm staff are very friendly and helpful and sell firewood if you need it. The showers are clean and hot. The camping field is very spacious and was not busy even in the middle of August so it was very private. The views are of rolling fields and the attractive farm buildings. It was lovely and very cheap.
