"We are a small family run farm, set in 40 acres of picturesque rural countryside. Our camping field is a quiet grassy meadow backed by tall tree's and a carp lake. A short walk along the public footpath will take you to the river Adur and 25 minutes further to 'The Royal Oak' country pub in Wineham (Good Pub Guide 2005. The nearest town is Henfield where you can pick up 'The South Downs Link' An excellent Walking/Cycling route that runs between Shoreham Beach and Guildford. We are 20 minutes drive from the seaside city of Brighton where there is an abundance of things to see and do. Barbeques but no campfires sorry"

Lovely campsite but not as quiet as I expected. Got quite busy on Saturday night. Distant road noise at times. But lovely surroundings. Nice walk to a local pub. Nice lake. And lots of random plastic cows. Old school charm; just a field with nice views. Helpful owner and good, basic facilities. Hot showers etc.

We stayed here in Sep 08 - nice site in very big field, lots of space for pitching and for kids to run around in, clean loos. Pubs walkable (about 30 mins), Brighton about 20 mins by car. We arrived to find about 30-40 French hells angels bikers on site, but plenty of room for everyone and very quiet at night. I would go again.

Don't really want to write this as feel that Blacklands Farm should be kept a secret but promised the owners. We had such a fantastic weekend at this back to basics but beautiful site, will definitely be going back very soon!

The was quite busy over May bank holiday weekend, pretty pond, rain prevented us from walking far. Nice pub close by called The Bull with great play area
