"Manor Court Farm welcomes campers and caravan users to enjoy the farm atmosphere and the local countryside and wildlife, and stay in the old orchard, on the grass areas around the old brick and tiled Kentish buildings, or amongst the trees near the pond where mallard and moorhen nest. There are no marked sites. Picnic tables and benches and camp-fire sites, and a limited number of electric hook-up points, are available in various places. Bags of wood can be bought at the farmhouse (you may bring your own wood if you wish, but please do not collect wood from the local countryside!) A recycling point for glass, paper and cans is also provided, and there is a chemical toilet emptying point. A recently renovated old farm building now offers excellent toilet and shower facilities, and has a washing-up and laundry area"

Stayed here last week, we originally intended to stay for one night, but ended up staying three. lovely setting with campfires , trees and chickens wandering about. The washing up and shower facilities were nice and clean; the washing machine, tumble drier and microwave a bonus! You are in Gatwicks flight path and the road is fairly active - but hey you cant have total rural seclusion and be fairly close to M&S foodhall!

This is a great campsite, but book in order to get a pitch with campfire. Some of them even have wooden chairs to sit on - bonus. I liked the fact that they don't cram in as many tents as possible, they said they were full once there were about 7 tents in the field! So you have lots of room. About the M&S foodhall - we were on foot and the nearest shop was an hour's walk through the fields and forest. Perhaps if you have a car you'll be able to find it.

We loved this site. Our pitch was in the orchard close to the house. We had a marked out place for a campfire and a wooden table and chairs - very useful. The kids loved the swing and rope swing and spent hours playing on these and in the evenings melting marshmallows over the fire.

The owner was really friendly and helpful and it was great to be able to buy wood on site. The loos and showers and washing up facilities were lovely and clean - no complaints there. We had chickens roaming round our pitch which the kids loved - we even enjoyed the cock crowing at 6am.

Bit of road noise but nothing serious.

Definitely recommend this site and it's very handy for plenty of the visitor sites in Kent - Hever Castle, Penshurst Place, Groombridge Place Gardens, Tunbridge Wells etc etc.
