'One of the most picturesque of Cornwall's Campsites.Noongallas farm is located in the depths of the Cornish countryside, north of Penzance with views of Mounts Bay. It is on high ground remote from main roads and town lights. This area of West Penwith is rich in historical places of interest including the iron age village of Chysauster. There are many footpaths to local beauty spots and the site adjoins the beautiful Trevaylor woods and stream. There is an abundance of wildlife, this is an ideal spot for birdwatchers. Campfires and barbecues are encouraged.'

Spent a week here in mid July and enjoyed every second. The campsite was fairly empty and we got a big pitch with brick campfire and picnic table. The track to the site is rather un-car friendly but this keeps the riff raff out. The site is large with access to a lovely wood where you can gather your own wood but it's also on sale from the very friendly and laidback owner, John. The track to the campsite would make this a bit awkward if you wanted to stay out late, but most people were happy around their fires at night. Only 2 showers so could get crowded if full, but for a relaxed country campsite this is tops.

My daughter and I discovered this fabulous site this summer and have both decided that our summer holidays are sorted out from now on.Sometimes, travelling as a lone parent with an only child can be a bit lonely, but from the moment we arrived and received a warm welcome from John and Kay we were inundated with offers of help pitching up,cups of tea and glasses of wine. No one was trying to create territory with windbreaks. The campfires flickered and on the first evening alone we were invited to three. We had two days of beautiful weather and three of rain but even so we had a great time. Two nights were spent in the barn listening to great music. We were so sad to leave and can't wait to return. We just hope it never changes.
