There are walks in every direction making it the ideal place for those interested in wildlife, history and archaeology within breathtaking scenery. The Penine Way and the new cycle trail and Penine Bridle Way are also on the doorstep!

Small, secluded camping and caravan site within 5 minutes of the most dramatic stretch of Hadrian's Wall

Fab little site in a stunning yet relatively unvisited part of the country.

Brand spanking new shower block, which the owners are very proud of!

A bit small, so you have to camp in amongst any cars you bring and close to other tents. But the site is split into levels, so you do feel that you have your own area.

Staff could have given us a slightly warmer welcome, but otherwise great.
