This site wasn't at all what I expected, this place is huge, loads of caravans, bar, restaurant and live entertainment. Great if that's what you want but we wanted quiet country camping. Was horrified to be told when booking in it was £20 a night for one tent and the surley guy on reception barked at me that the entertainment was free. For £20 a night I would expect luxury facilities which these certainly were not. Portaloos with no loo roll and incredibly dated and not very clean or efficient showers with nowhere to put anything. And, not enough of them so even though the site wasn't full there was always a big queue. Quick tip: worth the 10 minute walk from the camping fields to the showers by reception, more space and less queues! Great location though, the steam train to Swanage is within walking distance and was a massive hit with the kids. Really think the reception guy should cheer up and be a bit more welcoming and friendly!
