Have used this campsite for a few years now, Went back last month and they have put in new Toilets making it much nicer, the showers are hot, and take 20ps (only one needed for the boys, probably 2 for the girls unless you are quick or don't need to wash your hair!), the shop is sufficient and animals are welcome, there is a small play area for the kiddies, and we snuck to the campsite next door for a few bevvies, as it was out of season. the grass is lovely and the pitches large, although if you have the lower pitches you do have the sound of the stream and the road, those chicken chasers do annoy you after a while! we always take ear plugs anyway and slept soundly. Ilfracombe is only a short drive away, and the little port is sweet too but won't keep the kiddies entertained for long! For the £12 or £14 per night per pitch you can't go wrong really. and those Rabbits not half run fast across the campsite at Dusk! Oh, go in May, the playground is covered in Wild Garlic, which is amazing packed into flat mushrooms on the BBQ! Bon Appetite!
