"A small, family-run site, the most southerly in Great Britain, in a rural area with a spectacular sea view.
Most pitches have sea views and are level, secluded with shrubs and tropical/Mediterranean plants.
Within walking distance the next village is Cadgwith cove, a working fishing village, where boats are pulled up onto the shore by tractor, fresh fish is sold for your evening BBQ's and a small untouched pub with local atmosphere which has folk night on Tuesdays and Cornish songs on Fridays, so bring your musical instruments and lubricate your tonsils!!!"

We stayed at Henry's Campsite on 14/15 September - on a great recommendation from our son who had enjoyed a fab week in the summer at the camp. We had a FABFABFAB time over the sunny weekend. Jo Ron just couldn't have been nicer - and the farmhouse scones are DELICIOUS - thanks Jo! This lovely campsite is out of this world - watching the sunset over the sea with a glass of fizzy stuff was pure bliss. Also - I've NEVER seen so many stars in the night sky in my whole life - the planetarium was pure magic! We just can't WAIT to get back - when you go - enjoy the (challenging but wonderful) coastal walk to Cadgwith - well worth the hike - for the great lunch and cider in the village! Thanks for a really great time - the pub serves great food too! Jenny Oram-Weaver

We stayed at Henry's campsite for the first week of July 08. For me it was the first time I had been camping and the experience could not have been better, Jo, Ron and all the people we came into contact with at the campsite were eager to help and really friendly. I took with me three experienced campers and all said it was the best campsite they had ever been to, each night it was amazingly quiet (only the sound of the sea) and the vast view of the night sky was stunning. The campsite had fantastic fire pits so that you could get a proper camp fire going and relax and watch the sunset, I cannot think of any negative comments to make about my experience everything you could possibly require was at Henry's including cider on tap and cheeky chickens rescued from battery farms roaming free and happy. If you are heading to Cornwall make a point of booking a few nights at Henry's.

I'd love to be able to tell you that Henry's is a little bit of paradise, where the welcome is genuine and the owners Ron & Jo have become our friends, where they always find us a space when we turn up unexpectedly as we always do. I'd love to be able to tell you that the sunsets are the very best you'll see anywhere, and that this place has a magical quality not experienced in many places. I would really love to tell you all this, BUT if I did, maybe one day when we turn up unannounced, there won't be any room for us as you will all be enjoying our special place, so perhaps it's a secret I'd best keep to myself!! Lynda Miles (Wales)& Paul of course!!
PS. seriously this is probably one of the loveliest spots on the planet!

Lovely campsite with great views and close to the Lizard Lighthouse and Lion's Den for impressive walks but the 20 pence shower charge for two minutes of water was a bit rubbish.

Hellooooo to who ever reads this! Went to henry's campsite beginning of may 2008 on my own to sort my head out
what a wonderful place to be in with great people. I was given a warm welcome by jo and ron. They made my stay there wonderful. It is a place to be on your own if need be but also a place for parents to become children again and share the experience with there children. I have a vw camper i had no electric hook just sat there most nights with candles and a beer.
in the write up for henrys jo mentioned the stars at night how wonderful they are and yes she was right. fresh eggs in the morning. toilets great showers great. The lizard it self was so beautiful all the different coves, i loved kynance. the people i met at the lizard point are very welcoming kind and helpful. there are two pubs if there still open The whichbowl
and the Top House great food in both.
there is a butchers for your fresh meet
a coffee shop, but jo's coffe was better lol. i cant fault the whole place hope to make it back there this year. again jo and ron thank you you are both amazing people xxx

Hi just got back from Henrys yesterday possibly the warmest greeting that i have ever had entering a campsite everyone's friendly and its brilliant for kids such as myself as there is no shortage of things to do. The owners Ron & Jo are brilliant as are the rest of their family. Old Rosie By The Jug subject to availability and a shop that's open from morn until night. We have just had 2 fantastic nights whilst touring Cornwall and Devon. Ron was very helpful when we turned up to this small campsite in our 7 meter motorhome. He found us a lovely pitch with fantastic views next to the pig and chicken field! our children loved the animals and didn't want to move on. Would defiantly recommend if you want something a little bit different but very friendly. We will be visiting again without a doubt.

just got back from 2 nights at Henrys campsite, me and my wife are both managers on a large touring site in looe, cornwall, and love on our rare days off to visit sites and do coastal walks in Cornwall (research purely).
We loved this site the pitches feel so private, great atmosphere , owners very welcoming (great jugs of cider with your barbie),walk to cadgwith cove brill, (even saw a basking shark feeding in a cove),the cove inn cadgwith staff brill so friendly( love dogs owner out giving dogs treats). every one in the lizard so friendly well done the lizard and especially thanks to ron&jo
So if you are ever in cornwall please find time to visit us at tregoad park, looe, cornwall but also find time to visist ron&jo at henrys campsite at the lizard corwall.

We have stayed at Henrys twice now, One week in 2006 and two weeks in 2007. In 2008 we decided to camp at Gwithian and although the site was nice it was not a patch on Henrys. It was a very big site with good amenitys but it just did'nt match up to the warmth and friendliness of good old Henrys. Ron and Jo are really lovely people and there site is so peaceful and interesting in every corner, and Jo's scones WOW my mouth waters just thinking of them. We have not been able to get away this year due to family bereavement but we will hopefully return next year. why go anywhere else its all around you at Henrys, the sea places to eat and drink fab gift shops and some really wonderful walks. This place to us is Heaven on Earth. John and Sue Coomes
