'We have three riverside fields at Cloud Farm for camping. Being in a valley the fields are reasonably sheltered and mostly flat. All are easily accessible via our own private drive which is well-signed and close to Malmsmead ford. We welcome caravans and campervans as well as tents. Polite dogs are also welcome. We allow campfires in all of our fields. The size of the fields means we can offer camping without crowding!
A new block was completed in summer 2004 providing excellent hot showers and toilets. Laundry, drying and fridge/freezer facilities are also available. There is a tea shop on site for snacks, drinks and cream teas. Breakfasts are also available and we have barbecues regularly on warm summer evenings.
We also have a shop at Cloud Farm which provides an excellent range of essential grocery supplies, food and drink, and a full range of everyday camping needs (such as gas and logs), thereby obviating the need to stockpile reserves.
There is also an off-licence selling wines, beers and spirits. The shop is open throughout the year from early until late in the evening.
We are very flexible about camping arrangements and will happily take visitors on a day-to-day basis. This is often the best way given the unpredictable nature of the Exmoor Weather!'

'Cloud Farm in North Devon provides stones to make your fire and you can buy kindling and wood to fuel it at the campsite shop (or scavenge from the wilds of Exmoor) – fabulous!'

'Campfires are actively encouraged. We drove through this site in March and couldn't stay because it was a bit water logged but it looked very cute. On a farm site with a breakfast room, washing facilities and lots of field space. Again, with a river at the base' SALLY

We had a lovely time at Cloud Farm! great location and lots of fun. Camp fires permitted and they now offer fire pits free of charge if you want one. lovely place to bring the dog also, lots of great walks and all the staff are helpful and friendly. The sound of running water whilst sat around the camp fire of an evening with friends is something to experience! And for the walker's the gate out into the moors is extremely handy.
