The beach is a quiet, shingly cove running along side the site and out to a rocky headland. The headland forms a sheltered area with rockpools which is good for snorkelling. The beach is clean and good for swimming. Fires and barbeques are allowed on the beach - some campers have been known to catch their own supper!"
There are many fields to choose from and you can pick which ever suits your needs when you arrive. The site is well kept, clean and the views are stunning, hopefully the pictures attached will help give you a sense of our experience.
The site shop is very affordable and has the basics plus some local produce that provided great additions to many of our meals. On site there is also an ice cream, pies and chip shop (worth a try) and also site made pizzas which looked great but we didn’t get a chance to sample any ourselves.
The earth loos are clean, well equipped with loo roll and wood chips and don’t smell at all. The showers by the site shop are hot, easy to use, clean and have loads of hocks to hang your towel and clothes.
The pebble beach is clean and easy to access (although I’d recommend walking to the steps along the coastal path to access it). The kids loved the rock pools and swimming and the kittens and puppies in the courtyard by the site shop were a HUGE hit. We had camp fires every night and didn’t want to leave. All who went can’t wait to book next year and would highly recommend it.
