"Highside Farm is a working smallholding near Middleton-in-Teesdale in the Northern Pennines. The camp site is set within an area of outstanding natural beauty and enjoys extensive views over Lunedale and Teesdale. As well as the familiar Swaledale sheep we keep rare breed pigs and old fashioned rare breed Teeswater sheep. Our hens wander freely around the farm and campers can usually buy our fresh farm eggs. We can also usually provide breakfasts for campers if booked in advance"
