'The campsite has a maximum of 20 tents and the camping pitches are mostly in little private clearings in woodland. Camp fires and Bbqs are allowed. Dry logs and bbq coals are available for sale. The area is surrounded by public footpaths and bridleways. Campers are given a local map pointing out suggested walks, some to excellent local country pubs. The campsite is alive with the sound of birds. There are basic toilets, hot showers (takes 20p pieces) and washing up areas. There are also 2 small caravans (old but cute) which are available to rent (please contact us to book). Although the site is in the middle of the countryside it is situated near the hamlet of Streat, it is only 8 miles or 25 mins by car to Brighton seafront, 5 miles from the lovely old country town of Lewes and close to the villages of Ditchling and Plumpton'

"We are a small family run farm, set in 40 acres of picturesque rural countryside. Our camping field is a quiet grassy meadow backed by tall tree's and a carp lake. A short walk along the public footpath will take you to the river Adur and 25 minutes further to 'The Royal Oak' country pub in Wineham (Good Pub Guide 2005. The nearest town is Henfield where you can pick up 'The South Downs Link' An excellent Walking/Cycling route that runs between Shoreham Beach and Guildford. We are 20 minutes drive from the seaside city of Brighton where there is an abundance of things to see and do. Barbeques but no campfires sorry"
