A small, approximately 1 acre, private site for campers, caravans, and motorhomes nestling in the foot hills of the Peak District. The camping field itself occupies a raised position and offers panoramic views across the surrounding countryside. The field is bordered by secure fencing beyond which is lush meadow farm land. Tents and caravans can be pitched informally around the edge of the camping area, leaving the centre free for recreational pursuits. New for 2006 there is an onsite toilet block to include 2 individual private shower rooms, toilet cubicles and washroom comprising 3 wash basins, mirrors and power point for hair dryers. In addition to the toilet block you will find a water point, vegetable preparation/dishwashing area , motor van waste discharge point and picnic benches. A fridge/freezer service is available at the pub bar for perishable food and cool packs.
